Trade union activist prevented from travelling to Panama



On Thursday, 1 November 2018, Alejandro Enrique Sánchez Zaldívar, an activist from the Independent Trade Union Association, was prevented from trevelling to Panama where he had been invited for a workshop organized by the University of Latin American Workers. When he arrived at the José Martí International Airport in Havana, Terminal 3, the migration officers informed him that he would not be able to travel since his name did not appear in the system.
