UNPACU activist detained and threatened for his support for the NO campaign

Yanier Joubert Cisnero was distributing fliers supporting the "NO campaign" related to the referendum in Cuba which took place on 24 February 2019. When he finished, a State Security (DSE) patrol car approched him, detained him and took him to the police unit Parque 24. At 2 pm, the officers searched his house and confiscated him two USB sticks, a tripod and personal documents. Yanier was then interrogated by DSE agents known as Kevin or Edwin, Jefferson and Rolando or Yuniel. They told him that if he was distributing the same fliers on the day of referendum, he would be detained and taken to the prison so he should rather quit his activities. He was released at 9 am on the next day. Before the release he was fined 300 pesos for enemy propaganda and 30 pesos for disturbance of public order.
