Francisca was on her way to participate in a meeting planned by her organization, but when she arrived at 20 de Mayo Street she found that there was a patrol car with two police women, a car with several soldiers and two military women and a repressive officer known as Danilo. When they saw her, they intercepted her and detained her without explanation.
Francisca protested for being detained without any reason and the way they took her violently, to which the military women approached her to offend her for being black and hit her in the face and mouth to silence her. From there, she was taken to the criminal detention center, where she remained for more than 24 hours locked in a cell. Francisca was released without any explanation for her detention or her liberation.
