MCR activists are prevented from attending a religious event.

On September 7, 2018, five activists from the Cuban Reflection Movement (MCR) were retaliated in the city of Cienfuegos when they were on their way to the city of Santa Clara to attend the mass and procession of the Patron Saint of Cuba in the Buen Viaje church. Luis Nelson Fornaris Carrascosa, Dayron Agüero Garela and Lázaro Gervasio Fernández Juanes were taken out of a passenger car by Lieutenant Colonel Pablo and by the head of the so-called Provincial Confrontation Department. They were taken to their respective homes where they were placed on guards to prevent them from going out again.
