On September 7, when getting dark, the house of Aurelio Cabrera González, activist from the Cuban Reflexion Movement, was sieged by the members of the Rapid Response Brigade and State Security. When he was about to give the medicaments to his beridden brother, he was arrested by the officials in a violent way, using a immobilization technique. Then he was driven to the Political Police Provincial Unit in Sancti Spíritus. He was released on Sunday, September 9, at 7 am. The official were also angry because five banners criticizing a new Constitution draft which appeared in front of the interprovincional bus station. Morever, they probably wanted to prevent Aurelio from going to Santa Clara to attend Mass and join the Procession for Our Lady of Charity in the Buen Viaje Church.
