An actist threatened for participating in events supporting human rights

Giorvis Chivas Castillo was on his way to attend an event organized in commemoration of Human Rights Day. At the checkpoint of Caimanera, he was detained by police officials and together with other activists taken to the police station. During his detention, he was threatened by lieutenant colonel Cantillo, a State Security Chief in Caimanera, with going to the prison in case of participating in activities destabilizing regime.
