Activist prevented from leaving Cuba and participating in a training in Peru

Daniuska González González is a human rights activist and a member of the organization Cuba Inclusive Culture Network. González had been invited to participate in a capacity building training in Lima, Peru. When she was about to board her flight heading to Peru on Wednesday, 5 December, she was prevented from leaving the country. The officials at the José Martí International Airport in Havana, Terminal 3, informed her, that she would not be able to travel since her travel status is "regulated".
