Activist and former political prisoner prevented from leaving the province

The former prisoner Félix Navarro Rodríguez was approached by a police officer on the central highway at 4:30 am on Tuesday, 16 April. The young officer known as Darío Torres Barrios told him: "Félix, you cannot go to Havana", without providing him with a court decision. In the morning, the police visibly placed the patrol car no. 307 about 50 metres from the Navarro Rodríguez's house. At 11:27 am, Dárrio Torres Barrios visited Félix and told him that he is now allowed to leave the province.
