UNPACU activist in Guantánamo beaten up by State Security officials



In the morning, 1 December 2020, Yoandry Figueredo Torreblanca was on his way to buy some bread in his neighborhood, when he was grabbed by several State Security officials. They beat him up and then put him in a patrol car. Torreblanca was driven to so-called Operations Center located outside Guantánamo. There he was beaten up again and threatened due to posters which had appeared in Guantánamo. According to the official Lionis Torreblanca knew about it. He was also threatened with imprisonment for his contact with José Daniel Ferrer and other counter-revolutionaries.
