An independent journalist from Santiago de Cuba threatened due to his work

José Antonio López Piña was summoned before an official from the State Security known as Michel to the police station in the municipality of El Cristo in the province of Santiago de Cuba. At the police station, the official told the activist that it is his last birthday when he is free. He threatened him with imprisonment if he did not stop his work in favor of human rights and did not quit his job for the Palenque Vision Agency. José Antonio was under interrogation for about one hour and then he was fined 2000 pesos for usurpation of functions. After that he was released.
