Yanier works on the Huellas de Cuba project. When he was preparing an audiovisual record for the project, he was stopped by State Security agents and police. He was detained and sent to the police unit known as Parque 24. There, based on an order from the State Security, his Samsung cell phone and video camera were confiscated. He was released the next day at about noon.
