Activist detained in order to not be able to attend a march



The activist Luis Bello Gonzales was heading to the province Santiago de Cuba to participate in a march in order to ask for liberation of political prisoners and for the cessation of repression. At 5:40am, he was detained at the checkpoint of Caimanera by the police officials and the State Security. The victim along with another activists started to protest in the bus and explain to the passengers the violations that the officials were committing. The activists were transferred to the police unit, threatened and released a few hours later.
