Mr. Andrés Lovaina's family was victim of threats by officers of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR), including Captain Gianny Clape Rodríguez, Lieutenant Feyo Nicle Hernández and informant Ángel Ruenes. These individuals threatened the family with eviction from their home if they continued to support activist Keyber Rodriguez who lives about 50 meters from the family's home. The officers accused the family of supporting the activist when he was in trouble for taking out the means with which he carries out his work. Captain Gianny Clape accused Mr. Andres Lovaina of having moved the equipment one day when the State Security Department (DSE) was waiting for the activist to take away the means of work that the activist was supposedly carrying in his backpack. The officers told Mr. Lovaina to be careful because they were going to be watching him, that when they caught him serving as an errand boy for those counter-revolutionaries he would lose his job and that he and his family would starve to death and then he would know if those people were going to show their faces for him.
