Aquina Viera Álvarez, 79 years old lady, was several times strongly threatened by two of her neighbors, collaborators of the Ministry of the Interior. Since she felt very frightened, she decided to went to the police station to clarify the situation. At the police station, the officials treated her badly and detained her for 24 hours. According to the officials, her son is carrying out counterrevolutionary activity. Aquina stated that she just want to have a private life and to be treated equally before the law.
