In the afternoon, 5 September, 2020, Henry Couto Guzmán was walking down the Pedro Pérez Street and 6 Norte in Guantánamo, when he was stopped by official Kevin. He was immediately detained by several other officials, put in a patrol car and driven to the police unit known as Dica located in the northern part of the city. There he was taken to an office where Major Sergio, the head of the Confrontation Unit against Counterrevolution in Guantánamo, had been already waiting for him. Henry was threatened by several officials and his cell phone was confiscated. After having spent there an hour and half, handcuffed and receiving threats, he was put again to the patrol car and driven to the national highway. There the officials beat him up and chopped his bicycle tires. Then they left him there, 10 kilometres away from the city of Guantánamo.
