An activist Yoanny Beltrán Gamboa was going to attend a protest march which was being conducted to demand the end of political repression against human rights activists and the release of political prisoners. At 6:25 am, he was detained in San Lino and 2 Sur Street by police and State Security officials. They put him in the bus which was being parked in direct sun. He was later driven to Cajobabo area, which is about 100 km from Guantánamo and released, facing difficulties with the way back to Guantánamo.
