UNPACU activist detained while heading to the Santurio del Cobre

Geordanis Muñoz Guerrero was heading to the Basilica of Santuario del Cobre along with more than 30 activists. When they were approaching a checkpoint close to the municipality of El Cobre, Geordanis was intercepted by political police officers. Then he had to get off the car and the officials thoroughly searched him. They confiscated him his cell phones so he could not spread the message about what just happened. After that he was put by force in a bus and driven outside the city of Contrameastre where the officials left him to his fate.
