Rafael Domínguez Díaz was summoned by a local chief of police. The official threatened Rafael, that as he was involved in the incident with the statue of José Martí on 28 January, he would be summoned again and prosecuted for being in touch with a member of the opposition in the province. The official also said that he woud not let these things happen in his province. Rafael Domínguez replied that he had nothing to do with the statue, however, he was a free person and he was indeed supporting the pacific opposition in his province. Then the officers on duty took him to a prison cell. He was kept there for more than 36 hours and then released with a warning.
