Violation of domiciliary privacy

Juan Luis Bravo, a human rights activist, was the victim of heavy surveillance outside his home on July 10 and 11. The surveillance took place on the occasion of the first anniversary of the historic protests held in Cuba in July of the previous year. During these two days Juan Luis had two or more agents of the State Security (DSE) and unknown policemen. These soldiers were on the corner that gives access to the activist's house, a few meters from where Juan Luis lives. The agents followed him everywhere he went and although they did not speak to him at any time, they kept this surveillance quite uncomfortable for two days. This surveillance almost did not allow him to carry out his daily activities because activists who suffer this type of surveillance fear that at any moment the officers will arrest them. On July 12, this surveillance ended and Juan Luis was once again able to move freely.
