UNPACU coordinator detained and threatened

On February 28, 2016, an activist and UNPACU coordinator in Caimanera Yeider Fuentes Áreas was going to attend mass in El Cobre in Santiago de Cuba province. As per the order of Lt. Col. Cantillo, State Security chief in Caimanera, Yeider was taken from the bus he was travelling by and detained along with some other activists. They were detained in order to prevent them from attending Todos Marchamos campaign, which was being conducted to demand the release of political prisoners and gain respect for human rights. Yeider was driven to the Police Department and threatened with imprisonment in case he wanted to continue with his counterrevolutionary activities.
