Around 5 am, activist Marcos Antonio was heading to the province Santiago de Cuba to the Catholic church in Santuario del Cobre in order to attend Mass to ask for the release of political prisoners and the end of police repression. At the San Lino street, he was detained by officers of the State Security known as Kevin and Sergio. Then, he was taken to the police unit in Palenque and released around 1 pm.
