Proenza Rivera is threatened by the police for not working, speaking out about the 11J political prisoners and protesting on Human Rights Day.

Proenza Rivera was summoned by the Sector Chief of his area to report to the 24th Police Park Unit. There he was detained for 3 hours and threatened for not having a work relationship and for speaking out about the violations committed against the 11J demonstrators, who were demanding better living conditions for the Cuban people and who were unjustly accused. In addition, on December 10, Human Rights Day, he called for the immediate release of all political prisoners. Because of all this, he was warned that if he continued with such insinuations, a dangerousness index would be applied to him.
