Lady in White detained for 18 hours and threatened with imprisonment



Celina Claro Osoria was walking down the Avenida Street when she was detained by two State Security officials on the corner of the Los Maceos Street. She was handcuffed and without any explanation put in the patrol car no. 606. Then she was driven to the State Security Operations Center outside the city of Guantánamo. There she was detained for 18 hours without any information. After that, official Víctor appeared and interrogated her. He threatened her with imprisonment since she uses her house for meetings with counter-revolutionaries. When Celina was being released on the next day at 2 pm, the official said: “Remember what I had told, I will get into house and life and I will make it impossible for you”.
