Celina Osoria Claro was detained in Guantánamo by State Security (DSE) official known as Víctor Víctor along with several policemen. This happened when Celina was leaving the Provincial Hospital Agostino Neto and was about to join an event called the Sunflower Revolution in the José Martí Park. The principle was to gather people in parks in their places of residence and to make them bring a sunflower as a gesture of protest. Celina was then taken to the DSE detention center known as Operations. There she was threatened by a DSE official with a house search in her and her family's house where "the police would take everything, including chairs". She was released at about 8 am on the next day without any further consequences.
