Activist detained and prosecuted for taking pictures of the posters on his neighbor's house



On Wednesday morning, 6 March 2019, Francisco Rangel Manzano was detained based on an order from the secret police. In the moment of detention, Francisco was taking pictures of his neighbor who was just placing posters on her house with slogans asking for a life in dignity. The policemen who carried out the arrest are known as Pacheco and William. Francisco was then driven to the police station and put in a prison cell. Before his release, he was taken handcuffed to an office where he was informed that he was being prosecuted for being allegedly the author of the posters. He was released at 6:40 pm.
