Citizen arrested for alleged intrusion on his grandparents' property

At 7 p.m. of June 25, the police showed up at the home of the grandparents of a Cuban citizen, with an order to arrest him for having invaded the home of his grandparents, where he had lived for nearly a year with their consent. During his three-day detention, even the police officers asked him why he was detained. He replied that human rights were not respected in Cuba and expressed his complaints to the Government and the Cuban Communist Party. According to the citizen, this situation was made possible by the fact that the head of the Prosecutor's Office in the municipality of Nuevitas, is a close friend of the victim's cousin who is interested in obtaining the grandparents' house. There have been several heated discussions between the two cousins on this issue.
