A man from Guantánamo detained and accused of hoarding



Roger Blanco Durruty was detained by sector police chief of the zone Center, along with officials from the Ministry of the Interior (MININT). After that he was driven to the police unit in Guantánamo called Parque 24. There he was threatened for an alleged crime of hoarding of essential products in order to trade them illegally. The victim admitted that he had bought these products, however only to get them for his family. He was then insulted by the police chief who told him that he was a criminal and the goods he had bought were for illegal trading. Blanco Durruty was warned and fined 3000 pesos. He was released on the same day after 8 hours and half.
