Yaritz and Magalis were on their way to the Alcides Pino neighborhood, in the city of Holguin, to visit the wife of one of the 11J demonstrators who is in prison, in order to bring her some help because she is the mother of two children and her economic situation is difficult. As they approached the house, they observed two patrol cars with military personnel, two women and an officer known as Danilo. They intercepted one of the women and, without explanation, detained her. When she protested about the way she was arrested, the women in the patrol car approached her to offend her with racist insults, hit her in the face and told her to shut up. She was taken to the criminal investigation, where she was held for 12 hours in a dungeon and was released without any explanation as to the reason for her arrest, the aid she was carrying for the prisoner's wife was confiscated.
