Detention of activist without legal trial (Leonardo Paumier Ramírez in Havana)

With other people Leonardo Paumier Ramírez participated in a demonstration on June 13, 2014 on the street Galeano San Martin Neptune. There they demonstrated peacefully demanding their rights as Cuban citizens through posters related to basic needs of the people and through slogans in favour of the political prisoners and detainees. They were intercepted by the PNR being confronted each participant with law enforcment agent. Leonardo Paumier Ramírez interacted with Nolan Negre Fernandez. In Conclusiones Provisionales de la Fiscalía Paumier Ramirez was demonstrating slogans against the chief rulers and the way they led the country. When the officers indicated what they should do, all the accused started to attack them, which was not true as by existing video you can see that it bore the poster meant "Down with Castroism". Also when the PNR intercepted them, they did not resist arrest and never attempted against the officers who reduced to obedience hitting them to put the handcuffs. They was taken to the "America" Theatre, then were transferred to the police station Zanja and then Picota technician. Finally, they were taken to the detention of Valle Grande. A Leonardo Paumier Ramírez was imposed to the injunction pending trial. He was six months in detention waiting for the implementation of the judgment. They were notified Provisional Conclusions of the Prosecutor and the Auto Opening to trial that was never performed, charged with the offense of contempt of two years' imprisonment. As the restoration of relations between Cuba and USA was happened, concessions are made between the two countries and given some freedom to political prisoners and detainees, including Miguel Angel Frias Tamayo.
