With other people Ernesto Tamayo Guerras participated in a demonstration on June 13, 2014 on the street Galeano San Martin Neptune. There they demonstrated peacefully demanding their rights as Cuban citizens through posters related to basic needs of the people and through slogans in favour of the political prisoners and detainees. They were intercepted by the PNR being confronted each participant with law enforcment agent. Ernesto Tamayo Guerras interacted with Nolan Negre Fernandez. A Ernesto Tamayo Guerras was imposed to the injunction pending trial. He was seven months in detention waiting for the implementation of the judgment. They were notified Provisional Conclusions of the Prosecutor and the Auto Opening to trial that was never performed, charged with the offense of contempt of two years' imprisonment. As the restoration of relations between Cuba and USA was happened, concessions are made between the two countries and given some freedom to political prisoners and detainees, including Miguel Angel Frias Tamayo.
