Activist taken to a warehouse on the outskirts of his province and threatened

At 7:30 am, human rights defender, Dagoberto Martínez Martínez was arbitrarily detained. This occurred in the bus terminal of Pinar del Río when he was going to the municipality of San Juan y Martínez to participate in the monthly meeting for the Legal Rescue Foundation. The detention was carried out by the State Security officials Lieutenant Coronel Beune and Captain Juan Pérez. Dagoberto was taken to the outskirts of the province of Pinar del Río and to a warehouse located on Coloma Highway. There, he was threatened and given a notice that if he continued to participate in counterrevolutionary activities, he would be prosecuted for some crime and taken to prison. He was released after five hours.
