Activist threatened so he won't exercise his right to freedom of expression

An activist of the John Paul II Movement was victim of threats inside his own house by State Security Department (DSE) officer Antonio Rodríguez and by the sector chief of that area Midelsi Durán Campo. The officers threatened the activist with imprisonment if he dared to disobey an order from the DSE. The activist was forbidden to leave his house on 26th February, to create disturbances in the neighborhood, and much less to go out to talk about the trial of the leader of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU) in the house of the neighbors. The activist expelled the agents from his house and defended his freedom, against which the DSE officer told him that he had been warned not to complain about what happened to him afterwards.
