María Martínez Leyva was arrested by the Sector Chief for expressing her criticism of some articles of the new Constitution of Cuba. The victim was taken forcibly from her home in which caused bruises in her legs. She was taken to the "Parque 24" Police Unit where she was detained for more than 6 hours and fined 300 CUP (10€) for public scandal. They threatened her with prosecuting her case as a public disorder if she continues with the protests. Maria was released at 4 p.m. on June 8, 2018.
