Camilo Ernesto was detained approximately at 11:45 a.m. He was walking on a street when a patrol car slammed on the brakes in front of him. Uniformed agents got out from the car, they grabbed his arm and conducted the body search throwing out his personal belongings. Then he was taken to the car and driven to the police station. Without being registred, he was received by an agent of the state security dressed in civilian clothes, who was insulting him and saying "The Americans will not speak with you, the negotiation is with us." Around 6 p.m. he was driven to the middle of barely used road, so he arrived home about 8 p.m.
