Between May 3 and May 5, 2019, several members of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR), among them Captain Gianny Clape Rodríguez and First Lieutenant Anael Hernández, accompanied by the President of the Committee for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) where the victim lives, presented themselves with the purpose of supposedly digging up a complaint from the citizenry. The affiants wanted the woman to withdraw her accusation against First Lieutenant Carlos Hinojosa for the acts of racial discrimination he had committed against her. The officer called her "black shit" and used other offensive words against the victim that hurt her morally. These officers, far from wanting the facts to be clarified, only wanted to force the victim to withdraw the accusation so that their colleague would not have any problems, and to that end they used all kinds of intimidating methods.
