Maria was detained for more than 2 days

Maria de las Mercedes Balvier Esteel traveled to Havana to participate in the march of the Ladies in White corresponding to the "Todos marchamos" campaign. On March 20, she went to the church of Santa Catalina de Cassia to attend the Mass celebrated by Ladies in White. When she and the others left the church, the police along with agents of State Security detained them, took them to the military unit and from there to Guantanamo where they arrived the next day at 2 pm. In Guantanamo, she was taken to the center of operations and was released on 22 of March at 9 pm.
