Prisoner brought before Disciplinary Council for denouncing human rights violations

Jesús David, detained for protesting on 11J in Guantánamo province, was brought before a Disciplinary Council inside the prison, in which the Major, the Chief of the Prison and the Second Chief of the Prison, among other officials, participated. The officials alleged that the reason for the Council was that Jesús had made several complaints of human rights violations, such as poor food and an outbreak of tuberculosis. As a disciplinary measure, he was suspended from making phone calls for one month. This is the third Disciplinary Council to which Jesús has been subjected for denouncing human rights violations inside the prison.
