UNPACU activist detained on the street and threatened by the State Security

In the morning, 28 February 2020, Yanier Joubert Cisneros was walking around in the city of Guantánamo as usually. In the Martí and Paseo Street, a patrol car no. 606 stopped next to him and the officers inside told him to stop as well. When he did so, they asked him for his ID. Then they told him to accompany them since there was allegedly something wrong with the ID. When they arrived to the police station, Yanier was sent directly to a prison cell where he was kept for about five hours. During his detention, he was received by a State Security official known as Víctor Víctor. The official threatened him with beating him up. "Morever, you know that you will be prosecuted and sent to the prison, but not without this pleasure", the official said to the victim. The reason for the detention was a poster somebody painted in Paseo and Moncada Street and Yanier posted it on his facebook profile. He was released at 2 pm on the same day.
