On October 22, 2015, National Revolutionary Police patrol (No. 208) came to Zaida Lazara Hernández Rubi's house to detain her without having any judicial order. Mrs. Zaida refused to be transported away and approximatelly after 20 minutes, at 11:30, a State Security official and two women from secret police entered the house beating Zaida and her husband. They asked them to show legal documents which approve the detention. Miguel García Díaz stated that they do not need any order. The reason for the detention and transportation to the Police Department in Colón were pictures of their imprisoned daughter which Zaida placed on the door, asking for her liberation. Mrs. Zaida was already detained and interrogated for the same reason on October 17. On October 22, she was interrogated by Police Chief Carlos Manuel. He concluded she could no loger put the pictures of her daughter on the door and distribute them. She was released at 6 in the evening of the same day and she was obligated to pay a fine amounting 30 CUP for causing a public outrage.
