Human rights activist repeatedly prevented from attending Mass

On Sunday, 17 November 2019, a human rights activist from Guantánamo, Bartolo Cantillo Romero, was detained in a police action which aimed at preventing activists from attending Sunday Mass. The operation was led by State Security official known as Víctor Víctor. This official has a new way how to detain members of the opposition. After the detention, he takes them to remote solitary places and leaves them there so they cannot make it back on time to attend the Mass. This treatment violates their right to free movement.
