On Sunday, 13 October, Celina Osoria Claro, among with two other human rights activists, was detained in a police action carried out by secret police. The intervention was led by the official Víctor Víctor and an operation guard from the Guantánamo Confrontation Unit. The purpose of the police action was to prevent the activists from attending the Sunday Mass in the Santa Catalina de Ricci Cathedral. It is known that the activists were driven to the police station known as Instruction Unit where they were kept for about 8 hours in prison cell without any access to the water or toilet.
