Cuban citizen arrested after being notified of her eviction

On the morning of 7th September, several officials of the Provincial Housing Department accompanied by the Delegate of the People's Power of the area and the police arrived to the house of Yaneisis Milanés Ramos to notify her that she had to leave the house where he had lived for several years, with 2 of his 4 minor children. In 2016, the victim had bought that part of the house from Alinson Taboada Tamayo (who died in 2018), who in turn had inherited it from his family. Upon refusal to leave her home, Mrs. Milanés was arrested with her 2 children and taken to the police station, and was released around 10 pm the same day without charges.
