Alexey Brizo Lhaera was on the way to the headquarters of the UNPACU heading to the Santiago de Cuba to participate in the Sunday mass at El Cobre. At 2 am, he was detained by the police, riot squads and state security officers known as Kevin and Bryan. After 8 hours, he was released.
