Danilo Álvarez García was detained by sector police chief of the Center Zone, along with the officials from the Ministry of the Interior (MININT), and was driven to the police unit called Parque 24. There he was threatened for an alleged crime of so-called pre-criminal dangerousness. Álvarez García explained that even if he had applied for several jobs many times, he had never been contracted. The police chief asked him how it was possible that he was buying so many things. Álvarez García replied by asking whether it was a crime to have money in that country and that it was money of his family sent to him in order to buy food and other necessary things. The police chief concluded that he would be under investigation and fined him 300 pesos. He was released on the same day 3 and half hours later.
