On 4 April, 2014, two officials accompanied by the State Security official Alfredo Oliveros showed up in the house of the human rights activist Maikel Navarro Suárez. When they entered, they informed him that he was detained and he had to accompany them. The activist asked if they were carrying a detention order. The State Security official told him that they do not need any document to detain him and order the officials to detain him. They immediately followed the instruction and put him by force to the patrol car.
