Jonni Enrique Medina Suárez was at the home of coordinator Juan Antonio Fernández when the police violently burst in. The police beat and arrested those present, who were afterward taken to the PNR (National Revolutionary Police) station in San Luis, where they stayed for 24 hours. The next day, once Jonni was released, the police fined him 2000 pesos, supposedly for hanging signs against the regime.
