A 166-year-old building, home to 7 families, was declared uninhabitable by two authorities in the province of Antilla because it was at risk of collapse. Despite the fact that the building is falling apart, no urgent measures have been taken such as evacuation or closing the pedestrian crossing. Nor have they made any visits to the site or provided any assistance when walls and floors collapse causing clavicle and skull fractures to young people and children. The victims denounce that meanwhile in Ramón de Antilla, hotels are being built for tourists from which the people do not benefit at all; and in the middle of the construction they throw away tools and construction materials that could serve these populations at risk.
