Daniel Díaz Gamez was going to visit one of the human rights defenders in Guantánamo in order to complain about the current government in Cuba, especially in the context of mistreatment his receives from the local police chief. However, he was detained by State Security official called Major Víctor Víctor and put in the patrol car no. 630. He was driven to the police unit known as Parque 24 where he was warned and threatened. Díaz Gamez was released five hours later.
