At 9:30 am, Lázara Rodríguez Roteta was going to the church in Colón. She was detained and taken to the police station and later to the State Security Headquarters. Jaime López, a secret police official, told the official Casanova to tie her to the back of the car and drag her across the road. After that, several officials grabbed Lázara, put her into the car and drove her to the police station in Jaguey Grande. She was interrogated and fined 30 pesos for public disorder. She was released at 1:15 pm.
