Citizen who refused to work with police officials, was fined for sharing anti-regime information on social networks

"On November 13, 2021, Mr. Diosbany Salazar Rodríguez was summoned to the Operations and Crimes against State Security Unit in Guantánamo. Officers Lionis and Victor attended him, threatened him with imprisonment and subsequently proposed to Diosbany that he work for them, which he refused. Following this refusal, the officers imposed a fine of 3000 pesos, based on Decree 370, which legitimizes the officers to fine those who use social networks to publish news or information that expresses disagreement with the regime."
